In the lab this friday. Should be great. I should have some kinda video of that up afterwards, but once again, like the previous video, it won't be for long.

I have been doing a lot of mixing lately, some for Butta Verses up n coming album to be released on Domination Recordings, and others ranging from Bollywood Movie scores to new artists on Pharrell's Star Trak label. Its been an interesting first month in my new home in Brooklyn. I see a lot outside of my window i've never seen outside of a window, cuz i've never lived on a main street in my life. Here, I've seen anything from random beatdowns, to not-so-sane people yelling "helicopter!" over and over again, to the same old lady asking me for change 1531413 times a day, and not reallizing im the same person. Some of these things we had in Memphis, but some of this stuff is just strange. The 4th day i was in this apt, i saw a man fall from like the 20th flight of some building in the distance, then another man fall right after him. The first man died (rip) and the second lived. I have also seen snow go 100% horizontal....and not FALL at all...just fly to the left...down the street. Butta V also saw something flying from the sky around midnight one night. The sincerity in his face and eyes led to me believe somethin was about to go down!....its all good though.

Yeah its been a while since i've updated my blog, and there is a reason for that. I've been swamped with finishing a lot of things, one of the main things is IMAKEMADBEATS. Next tuesday, before Akrobatik's album release show in NYC, Black Milk and Butta Verses will be recording the lead single at Quad Studios. Looking forward to that:)

I've been mixing an album for Shinobi Stalin and mixing for several other people. I'm finally comfortable the new crib in BK, gettin used to the neighbors, furniture, and all that.
My cousin Dominic is leaving back for England today. He was here for a week or so in Nov, and came back in Jan for a month. I guarantee you will here his name again.

Butta Verses is coming to NY today and will be here for a couple of weeks, who knows what will come outta that....stay on the lookout.

First Rza, Then Qtip...now NeeM

Its been longer than i'd like since my last blog post here, and i have reason for it. So, about 4 days ago, i woke up to find water coming through my light fixture in the bed room. The light its self was sparking. At first it thought it had rained outside, and something was just leaking. I wasnt fully awake yet, so things werent coming together. Then I reallized, it hadnt rained at all. The water started to get heavier and heavier, and at first i was trying to Catch it with a bucket, but then i thought that maybe this bucket wasn't enough. It was then that I began to move all of my most important equipment out of my room. My computer first, then production tools..... just as i was gettin most of my stuff out, the ceiling collapsed and water poured into my room like the day God told Noah about. The floor was soaked and floor, some of my records were damaged...then i reached to pick up a record and the water electrocuted me. I was suspended around 3 seconds and it burned my arm and hand. i was knocked back to the kitchen, where i put a dent into the stove with my head. That day wasnt a good day.

Ironically....all this happened on the day the lease was signed for my new apartment. Great. This couldn't have happened one week later?
